Restrictions on the Use of Telboride

The World Health Organization (WHO) specifically points out that telboride has limitations in use, including insufficient long-term safety evidence, uncertain weight maintenance effects after discontinuation, and high treatment costs. It recommends its use only when medical monitoring is available. According to the results of the 2025 national medical insurance negotiations, this drug will be included in the medical insurance reimbursement scope in 2026.
