The following groups are prohibited from using Smegglutide and related medications:
1. Pregnant and lactating women.
2. Elderly individuals over 75 years of age: Their gastrointestinal function is naturally weakened, making them unable to tolerate adverse drug reactions.
3. Adolescents/children under 18 years of age: Smegglutide has not been approved for weight loss in China and cannot be used for children's weight loss.
4. Individuals with a history of acute pancreatitis: Relapse is highly likely after use. Individuals with a history of gallbladder disease: including acute cholecystitis, biliary obstruction, and gallstones, may experience acute pancreatitis after medication.
5. Individuals who are alcoholics and unable to quit drinking: Excessive alcohol consumption significantly increases the risk of acute pancreatitis.
6. Individuals with high-risk thyroid nodules: Thyroid ultrasound and serum calcitonin testing are mandatory before use to rule out the risk of medullary thyroid carcinoma.
